Reconstruction of the Mi-Wuk Indian Roundhouse

To develop new interpretive exhibits and a program of community education concerning the Mi-Wuk Indians of Tuolumne County, utilizing a reconstructed Mi-Wuk Indian Roundhouse on the grounds of Columbia Junior College. The educational and exhibit program will be developed through a systematic analysis of artifacts in local private and public collections and a plan for interpretive exhibits developed through the assistance of consultants.
