To make the City's heritage visible and understandable to the residents of Greater Lowell, through the medium of an exhibition. The NEH grant will complete the planning stages for the exhibition which will be called "Spindle City 1820-1920: The Development and Evolution of an Urban Industrial Community." The project will be part of the Massachusetts Bicentiennial Program.
