Impressionism: A Centenary Exhibition

Through collaboration between the Louvre and the Metropolitan forty Impressionist paintings from French and American museums and private collections will be brought together for an interpretive exhibition commemorating the one-hundredth anniversary of the first Impressionist exhibition. Complementing the <40 masterpieces will be surrounding exhibits which examine the sources, social history and art historical ramifications of Impressionism.
