Michael Richman (Project Director: September 1975 to present)
To produce the first traveling exhibition of an American sculptor and the first retrospective of Daniel Chester French (1850-1931). The exhibit will educate the museum public to the monumental commemorative sculpture which it comes in daily contact with; but has little awareness as to why it was erected or how it was created.
