Philadelphia Architecture: A Panorama of a Civilization

FAIN: GM-10597-75

Whatcom Museum of History and Art (Bellingham, WA 98225-4401)
George E. Thomas (Project Director: November 1975 to present)

This project aims to present Philadelphia's architectural landmarks as manifestations of our cultural and social heritage. The program will be executed through a series of exhibitions; each exhibition will supplement a display of the building itself with photography, drawings, slides, and informata about the architect, his other works, and his contemporaries. The displays are designed for the general public, regular users of the building involved, and visitors.
