To improve the programs of State and Local History Associations and of history museums through seminars that will explore with participants the ways they can interpret history effectively to the public. The participants will be persons professionally employed by an historical society or history museum. The seminars will aim at developing a broad overview of the functions and implications of historical society work in the community.
