To relate strongly to the large Norwegian-American population through an exhibition of artifacts borrowed from three major museums in Oslo, the City Museum of Bergen, and two private collections. The exhibition has been sanctioned by both the governments of Norway and the United States, and the Royal Family of Norway has expressed interest in being represented at the opening.
