To give wide circulation within Mississippi to ten films on the folk heritage of Mississippi by inaugurating a free film lending source to rural schools, libraries and appropriate civic organizations. Syllabi for use with the presentation will be distributed. They will interpret the role that folk culture has played in the development of Mississippi and emphasis that history is what people think and do. Material will also suggest how to organize local history projects and will list free consultants available through state agencies.
