To support an interpretive exhibition of art works produced in New England under the sponsorship of the Federal Government in the 1930s. A variety of interpretive methods such as audiovisual presentation, evening lectures, films and special events will instruct the audience in how to view this art as a surviving documentary of a past era. Exhibition should attract a diversified regional audience.
