To plan an interpretive multi-media program on the Afro-American sky lore tradition which will trace African cosmological concepts and legends through their transformation and persistence within Afro-American society via oral accounts, art motifs, songs and chants, beliefs and sermons, plantation lore, naval records, diaries, and literature.
