Delaware Women Remembered

To plan an interpretive exhibit featuring Delaware women, beginning with the lives of Indian and pioneer women and coming up to the present day career women in Delaware. The program of the exhibit is based on a book produced by the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Council as its Bicentennial contribution, entitled Delaware Women Remembered. Photographs from the book as well as artifacts, manuscripts, documents, portraits, and printed material will be included in the exhibit. Exhibit designed for the general public in the New Castle County area, but special effort will be made to arrange tours for schools, senior citizens organizations and special groups.
