Seminars on the Interpretation of History by Historical Societies and Museums

To provide broad-based training for beginning professionals and directors in historical societies and museums in order to expand the focus of historical societies from provincial, "first family" organizations to dynamic agencies involving the entire community in heritage. Three seminars--two on interpretation and one on publications-will explore with participants theories, philosophies, and methods of interpretation and techniques and approaches to publication.
