A planning grant to: 1) identify and define themes, ideas, and up-to-date historical interpretation of the environmental, social and commercial/industrial history of coastal Maine, 2) study and recommend public educational programs of exhibits, walking tours and printed guides, media programs and classes or workshops, and 3) identify and assess Freeport Historical Society's permanent and potential collections and surrounding cultural resources.
