Site visits and consultation with scholars to develop a traveling exhibition, online materials, and public programs interpreting Northeastern Pennsylvania’s role in the Underground Railroad.

"A Place to Call Home: Northeastern Pennsylvania’s Underground Railroad History" is a traveling exhibition and multi-media project using three interconnected elements: (1) a traveling interpretive exhibit about the important role that Northeastern Pennsylvania held within the scope of the national Abolition movement and Underground Railroad activities; (2) multi-media materials and programs to enhance the exhibit and expand its accessiblity to the public; and (3) a documentary film utilized as part of the exhibit and later used for broadcast. The consultation and project development process is expected to result in a strategic plan that outlines a systematic approach for the project.
