Consultation with scholars and an exhibit developer to define the interpretive outline of an exhibition on the history of invention and innovation in Rochester.

The Rochester Museum & Science Center requests consultation funding in the amount of $10,000 to develop a set of guiding concepts for a new exhibit about the history of invention and innovation in the Rochester region. This exhibit will constitute the centerpiece of a multidisciplinary experience that explores and explains locally developed technologies and also places them in an economic and cultural context. The consultation will bring together museum project staff, an exhibit development consultant, and three visiting scholars. It will also enable museum staff to meet with Invention at Play exhibit developers at the Smithsonian Institution.
