To develop 8 or more dramatic biographic films in order to present the major themes in the social history of the trans-Mississippi West from 1770 to 1920. These film presentations are based on 15 to 20 distinct but recurring and interrelated themes that together can explain the history of the American West. The series will be designed for a general adult audience adult to be reached through television and other mass media.
