Drinking in America: The Historical Phenomena

To develop a film series, aimed at general audiences and appropriate for public television and classroom use, which deals with the topic of drinking in America. The presentation will deal with drinking or a social phenomenon, placing its use, abuse and control in historical perspective and discussing such fundamental ethical questions as the appropriate balance between personal freedom of expression and public law in an open participatory political system.
