History of Slavery in America

To research and develop a pilot script for a series dramatizing the history of slavery in the U.S. from its beginning through the end of the Civil War. Programs will be designed to aid the public understanding of a past common to blacks and whites. Series will reach general adult audience during prime time via PBS stations.
