Thirteen one-hour radio programs exploring the urbanization process through which San Diego evolved from a colonial missionary settlement to a modern city. Series will expand public awareness of San Diego's rich historical heritage, will familiarize listeners with the methodologies and resources of historical inquiry and analysis and will demonstrate the relevance to today's world of studying the past.
