To plan (in collaboration with the Great Amwell Company, Inc.) a series of 12 one-hour programs dramatizing the works of Mark Twain. Framework commentaries, filmed in locations where Twain lived and wrote, will link the writer and his works with the development of American literature in a period of major social change. Series will be designee to reach the large general audience of prime time TV via the PBS.
