More than 60 academic humanists from seven Nashville institutions will engage the community in dialogue in over 250 presentations about definitions of human rights and values. These presentations will include talks, workshops, mini-courses, and panel discussions and will range over such issues as the right to health care, the rights of the retarded, civic liberties, and the right to privacy. A Citizen's Advisory Committee has been organized and will coordinate activities with a wide range of community groups and institutions.
