To collect data on and evaluate the impact of the initial SWLA/NEH project "The Southwestern Mosaic" using outside consultant aid and staff and Advisory Board efforts. Project will determine if SWLA/NEH kit materials have improved the number and quality of proposals to the state-based humanities committees for library sponsored humanities programs and if the regional approach effectively encourages and stimulates interest in NEH public programs. Project will also assess the importance of the original project as a means of strengthening interest in all aspects of humanities. Results will be made available.
