Humanist Working in Neighborhoods

To explore ways in which humanities scholars can work with neighborhood and ethnic organizations to develop humanities materials related to the history, culture and identity of ethnic neighborhoods. Nine community neighborhood organizations in the East and Midwest will cooperate with scholars in the planning process to develop a proposal on themes and materials suitable for humanities programming on neighborhood concerns.
