Planning grant to support a small staff which will explore the possibilities for incorporating effective public programs in the humanities into the activities of the National Humanities Center. Staff will assemble information, confer with leading humanists and representatives of various communication media, and write a comprehensive plan for the use of the Center. Possible activities to be examined are radio and TV productions, printed materials, public lectures and conferences.
