To support a program of group discussions led by trained volunteers, supplemented by community-related projects, outside research and reading, and films. Program seeks to offer opportunities for older Americans to become actively involved in community affairs and projects based upon their interests and involvement in the humanities. Program will be offered at 400 locations including senior centers, church clubs, libraries, labor halls, nursing and retirement homes. 50,000 persons will participate.
