Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA) requests $2.1 million to continue implementing the NEH on the Road (NEHotR) Program through a cooperative agreement with the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) for a project period of July 2012 - June 2015. M-AAA has worked on behalf of the NEH for eight years to develop and implement NEH on the Road, resulting in a nationally-known program that engages audiences across the country with high-quality humanities exhibitions focusing on scholarship, educational programming, and visitor impact. This cooperative agreement includes assisting the NEH with the selection of four new exhibitions and working with originating venues to develop, design, and fabricate these exhibitions, create public programming materials, solicit, develop and maintain venues, provide program support, maintain the exhibition tour schedules, and to develop and provide training opportunities for program participants.
