To teach secondary school students classical civilization with emphasis on the Latin language, Greek and Roman history and philosophy, English etymology, and mythology. There has been a severe decline in the teaching of Latin in Vermont schools. This project will demonstrate to the students themselves the importance of this serious lack in their education.
