To collect systematically, and for the first time, the oral tradition surrounding Henry Berry Lowry, Lumbee Indian guerilla of the Reconstruction. To make thse tapes available to libraries and research institutions. To prepare two sound-slide shows based on these tapes--one for schoolchildren, the other for adults and college students.
