The project is organized to study and document Rock Art from the visual and written standpoint. The study will make the first comprehensive and detailed accumulation of Rock Art data and could build a basis for further investigationon the subject. The destruction of petroglyphs and pictographs caused by vandalism, natural erosion and road construction is alarmingly increasing and makes it necessary for the documentation to be secured now.
