Excavation of a Pre-Historic Site in Western Idaho

To establish, through a test excavation of a western Idaho archaeological site, a cultural chronology of prehistoric peoples of the area. the site is to serve as a control site for correlation and comparison with existing and subsequent archaeological materials of Idaho and the Northwestern U.S. in general (a deeply stratified site of this nature is not now available in southwestern Idaho). To also evaluate the site and immediate areas for further archaeological explorations and cultural implications.
