To historically examine the numerical and alpha numerical data contained in the Visitation Register, the journal of Archbishop Rigaud of Rouen and the one 13th century ecclesiastical document which has the appearance of completeness and has been largely ignored by historians, in order to arrive at a reasonable historical of the ecclesiastical economic history of the period.
