To preserve on tape and in manuscript form for the benefit of future generations, the personal insights unobtainable in documents or other written records of those who had a firsthand experience of the Revolution in China and to discover the change, if one exists, in their present analysis of their experiences from the perspective that time and political changes have given them. The project continues an earlier oral history project. Three history majors will use previous material and new research and interviews to complete the project and submit the manuscript to the Hope College archives.
