Development of a Slide-Tape Presentation on Women Outlaws of the West

To develop a slide-tape documentary on women outlaws of the West from the early 1800s-the early 1900s, based on archival research and oral history interviews. Grant will examine social, economic, and political conditions that affected these women's lives. A transcript of the narrative tape, a description of the slides, and an extense bibliography will also be prepared.
