To preserve on photographs, tape and in writing an accurate record of the fading methods of tobacco farming and the families who are resisting technological change. The project will result in a book, a photographic exhibit and possibly a multi-media program depicting peoples' rights in the context of increasing mechanization of the tobacco industry.
