Discussions on American Music at OCC will focus on merging regional elements with national trends and historic influences on current musical genres. From Blues to Jazz and Country to Hip-Hop, Northwest Ohio is home to thousands of professional musicians and music supporters. A viewing of the film series allows this audience to benefit from the examination of social and historic events as presented through the history of our country’s music. America’s Music also meets the needs of many courses on our campus.
