The University of Minnesota Libraries propose to bring the NEH/ALA-sponsored traveling exhibit, "Manifold Greatness: The Creation and Afterlife of the King James Bible" to the University Libraries. Support for the traveling exhibit is planned to include two internally developed displays highlighting the Libraries' rare books including an original, 1611 King James New Testament, as well as other related Bibles and historical pamphlets and broadsides of that era. As many as four campus programs by faculty as well as four external presentations by community partners(Minnesota Historical Society, Hennepin County Library, St. Paul Public Library/Highland Park, Luther Seminary, and Bethel Seminary) have been proposed as well as exhibits of their relevant holdings to support the exhibit.
