Ancillary public humanities programs to accompany the NEH on the Road: Going Places traveling exhibition.

The Museum of the Gulf Coast will host a variety of public humanities programs in association with the traveling exhibition Going Places. Programs for all ages will take place at the Museum during the exhibition period and will highlight the age of horse drawn travel. These free programs will include the following: an opening reception featured a guest performance and/or lecture, a film series, a family fun day, after school programs, docent led tours for the general public, and hands-on tours for all third grade students in Port Arthur, Texas.
