Consultation with a conservator to work with the repository's staff to safeguard and rehouse images dating from the 1840s through the 1970s in the organization's Lincoln Family Photograph Collection.

Assessing Hildene's Lincoln Family Photograph Collection will give us the information we need to properly conserve and store our 1,500 photographs of the Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln family and descendants dating approximately from the mid-1840s to the late-1970s. These photographs chronicle over 130 years of very important American and Lincoln Family history. Using the information that results from this assessment, we will create a plan of work and execute the preservation and storage activities suggested.
