Florence M. Jumonville (Project Director: May 2004 to November 2008)

The purchase of boxes and file folders to re-house the Supreme Court of Louisiana archives dating from 1890 to 1904.

The proposed project will clean and rehouse in acid-free file folders and boxes 4,881 case files created by the Louisiana Supreme Court from 1890 through 1904. The case files currently are stored in the acidic envelopes and boxes in which they were received from the Court in 2000, and they contain metal fasteners and staples.
