FAIN: PA-51570-06

University of Montana (Missoula, MT 59801-4494)
Donna E. McCrea (Project Director: May 2005 to March 2007)

Training in disaster recovery for the staff of the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library of the University of Montana-Missoula and for other librarians and archivists in the region. The grant would also allow the purchase of environmental monitoring equipment for the Mansfield Library.

Grant support would fund three activities. First, grant funding would bring a trained professional to the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library at The University of Montana-Missoula to teach a full-day hands-on Disaster Recovery workshop for the Mansfield Library’s newly established Disaster Response Team. Second, grant support would pay for a full-day disaster planning workshop to be offered to Mansfield Library affiliates and librarians, archivists and curators from the region. Third, grant funding would allow the Mansfield Library to purchase 3 IPI Preservation Environment Monitors (PEM) for continuous monitoring of temperature and humidity throughout the library building.
