Hiring a conservation consultant to conduct an assessment of the exposure of textiles to light levels in 2 historic house museums and the purchase of materials.

Funding will support a one-day conservation assessment targeting specific issues of light levels and rotation of artifacts in historic house exhibit buildings. We are also asking for thermohygrometers for our exhibit and storage areas. Anticipated purchases are shades, thermohygrometers, Blue Wool standard cards, and storage tubes.
