The Howard Baker Center for Public Policy at the University of Tennessee requests $4,987 to purchase archival storage containers and archival folders for the collections of Senator Howard Baker, Jr.; Congressman John Duncan, Sr.; Congressman Howard Baker, Sr.; Congresswoman Irene Baker; and Governor Donald Sundquist. These collections are part of the Modern Political Archives, an intellectual entity consisting of the papers and archival material held by the University of Tennessee Libraries and the Baker Center relating to political leaders of Tennessee, major associates of those leaders, and other individuals or groups who have had a major impact on Tennessee during the modern era (1945 to present).
