The purchase and installation of equipment to monitor environmental conditions in the space where the society's 10,000-item collection of archival records, photographs, textiles, art, books, machinery, militaria, furniture, agricultural equipment, and toys are stored and displayed. The collections document the history of Preble County in southwestern Ohio.
