The hiring of an archival consultant and support for cleaning and disinfecting of all areas where documents are stored, including air conduits; cleaning and archival rehousing of documents; evaluation of audiovisual materials and cleaning or restoration where necessary; and the purchase of archival and cleaning supplies to preserve the archives of the Fundacion Biblioteca Rafael Hernández Colón, whose collections document Rafael Hernández Colón, who served as Associate Commissioner of Public Service, Secretary of Justice, President of the Senate, and three-term Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico between 1973 and 1992.

All areas must be cleaned and disinfected.  All deposits and all areas where documents are maintained must be sprayed (sprinkle).  The air conduits must be cleaned.  The documents must be removed from their actual container, boxes, folders and/or any other containers or protection they might have.  They must be cleaned and placed in new boxes and/or containers of archival quality.  The condition of audiovisual documents must be elevated with the use of PH indicators and if necessary to purchase the following materials: acid free documents boxes, photo boxes, envelopes, folders, containers for film, labels to identify the boxes and PH indicators.
