-Purchase of storage furniture to preserve archives documenting the history of the museum and manuscripts related to noted 20th-century women artists Frida Kahlo, Eulabee Dix, Doris Lee, Irene Rice Pereira, Edna Reindel, and others.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts requests support to purchase and install new shelving units, flat storage solutions, and secure, lockable cabinets in our archives storage room in order to preserve our institutional archives and different special archival collections more effectively, expand storage space, and enhance security for valuable collections. New units will adhere to strict preservation standards, increase usable linear footage in the same room by 25%, and supply secure storage for collections with significant monetary value.
