Hiring a consultant to conduct a preservation assessment of 25 outdoor sculptures. The sculptures are a part of the Herron School of Art and Design at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis. The collection includes works in stainless steel, bronze, aluminum, wood, glass, composite materials, and other sculptural media created by internationally recognized, as well as regional and local, artists. Items from the collection are used in educational and public programming focused on public art.

The project will engage a professional objects conservator to identify the preservation needs of the IUPUI outdoor sculpture collection and recommend a long-range plan for the care of the collection, including a monitoring program and necessary supplies.
