The hire of a consultant to conduct a preservation assessment and train staff in the proper care of the Westminster Choir College archives documenting the history and study of American music. The collections include institutional records, manuscripts, photographs, audio-visual material, musical scores, and artifacts. The archives also house the records of the Talbott Festival, which featured new American music including the premier of works by Samuel Barber and William Schuman.

This individual will meet with staff, examine the materials that comprise the institution's archives, make detailed recommendations and provide training for staff.
