Digitization
of 100,000 pages of newspapers published in California between 1920 and 1940,
as part of the state’s participation in the National Digital Newspaper Program
(NDNP).
The Center for Bibliographical
Studies and Research (CBSR) at the University of California, Riverside (UCR)
participated in the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP) from 2005 to 2011
and from 2015 to 2017, receiving four two-year awards. We delivered slightly
over 300,000 pages for the first three awards and are delivering just over
100,000 pages for the fourth.
