To produce over a 5-year period a four-part guide BOOK to the Library's manuscripts, each part to be issued separately but eventually to become available with the others as a comprehensive guide to this major collection of British and American manuscripts. In 1975-77 guide books to literary and American historical manuscripts will be completed along with cataloging in these two areas.
