Vanishing Georgia--Heritage Photography Project

To locate and copy significant photographs held in private collections. The type of photographs sought are those that document a way of life that no longer exists. Building exteriors and interiors, machines, equipment, mechanical devices, business and social activities, street scenes, parades, and gatherings of various sorts are appropriate. Pictures of individuals will be included only when 4 specific details of interest or if the person is/was someone of note. The resultant photographs will be filed, indexed and made available to scholars and the public.
